Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive

Bill is a sweet but very shy dog so he is going to need someone that has a lot of patience and understanding. I recommend a quiet house hold with older children over the age of 12. Bill came from a horrible hoarding situation and had very little to no interaction with people other than his owners. Bill will warm up but someone with the understandinfg and experience is his only hope at a bright and happy future. Bill is neutered and HW negative. He will sleep in a crate and may at times use his crate as his refuge from the outside world. Only serious inquires and experienced trainers may apply.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Alabama
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
