    Meet Carly a 1 year old mini Beagle! Carly is a full Beagle and acts fully Beagle. Unfortunately, her elderly mom was not prepared for a fully Beagle Beagle. Her mom realized Carly is more dog than she can handle and just wanted what was best for Carly. At one year old, she weighs 20 pounds, spayed and up to date on shots, dewormed and heartworm negative. She will need an active family and someone familiar with Beagle Breed or willing to go to Obedience Training. Carly has already started obedience training at the rescue. Her adoption fee is $250.

    Bullet is a 4 year old beagle and as a true hound, he loves to track! He is very sweet and is great with other animals and kids! He was brought to the rescue when he was about to be put down at a local shelter. He came to them with 2 gun shot wounds to his legs that luckily went all the way through with no damage to the bones. He was also heartworm positive but he has already been treated! He has healed very well from everything this poor baby has been through! He is fully vaccinated, has been neutered and is ready to go to a new home where he can get plenty of love! His adoption fee is $150.

    Gage is an 11 month old fluff ball of puppy play! He is a big sweetie that is HUGE!! Gage does sound very much like a beagle though and the older he gets the more like a Great Pyrenes he looks! He was found on the side of a country road with his brother by a couple who couldn't stand leaving the babies to fend for themselves. They called the rescue and so now they are here! Gage has been neutered, dewormed and had all of his vaccine. His adoption fee is $250.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Alabama
    Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
