Please help me find this sweet puppy a new home. Jack came from a family of mutual friends who were having to move out of state and couldn't take him with them. I fell in love with his sweet face and thought he'd be a good companion for our beagle. I bit off more than I could chew as he will take way more training than we have time for. Our other dog has always been very low maintenance, Jack is just super high energy. He is very sweet, extremely playful, and gets along with everyone and other dogs. He longs to be outside most of the time but is a chaser and a barker and our neighbors complain. He is trained with a wireless fence collar but ... (Read More)he whimpers at the edge wanting to get out and run. He needs room to roam. He would be a great hunting dog or even one of those agility dogs. really needs room to roam. He is crate trained and house broken. We had him neutured and his rabies shot is up to date but he's had no other vaccinations by us. The previous owners said he was up to date but couldn't produce documents. He has been on Heartguard chewables. He's probably a little over a year old. We are at our wits end as he drives us and the neighbors crazy barking and running laps around the house. He is such a sweet boy and would be a great addition to anyone with a little more room. PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Alabama
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
