Rescue Me ID: 17-05-23-00084Lady April (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lady (her full name was lady April but she responds to Lady). Her personality has come out in a short amount of time. She doesn't mind the crate and has been sleeping in there at night and while foster is at work. She weigh 9#, is approx 3 y/o, and loves to cuddle. She can really wag that tail when she's happy! She is house trained and lets you know when she has to go potty. Yet to have an accident in the house! She is very quiet aside from the occasional grunt/growl at unusual things but that should cease as she becomes more familiar and confident. She is terrified of men but loves females and is ok with older kids. She likes other dogs ... (Read More)and enjoys running and playing with them. She has a slight luxating patella which doesn't seem to bother her. WDCR requires an application, home and reference check and a met and greet with current pets and/or children in the home. Lady April is being fostered in Longmont, CO. (Less)

Hi, My name is Niko, and I am here with my sister, a 50lb pit bull. I am about 15lbs but don't underestimate me as I am full of puppy energy. I LOVE toys and treats and friends! We grew up in a very broken home. Our parents were in and out of jail and we were eventually rescued by the humane society. We LOVE each other and do EVERYTHING together. We love people and would make a GREAT addition to any home. I am so very friendly I will snuggle with you all day long. We are fixed and up to date on all our vaccinations, and our adoption fee is $250 individually or the rescue is willing to do a discounted adoption fee for both. Our ... Beagle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Packer, Pack dog, Pack man, Poodle dog, is a super sweet, cuddler. He is accustomed to a rural setting and appreciates a less social environment than downtown Denver can offer. Pack is great with people and familiar animals; however, Denver is full of strange social situations, including every trip outside. He loves to lay in the sun, perform tricks for his favorite snack (carrots), and did I mention...cuddling! Please help me find a home for this sweet boy, I am fearful a poor interaction in this overstimulating environment will result in euthanization.

WDCR was contacted about sweet Georgia from a shelter in Colorado. She is 26 pounds and 2 years old, a Corgi/Beagle blend. She came from Texas and is HW-. Georgia does well with dogs and cats, she is house trained and well mannered and spayed. She has a shy side but is very loving once she trusts you. Georgia is crate trained and would love for someone to teach her things and build her confidence. Older kids would be ok. Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue requires an application, home and reference check and a meet and greet with current pets and/or children in the home. Georgia is being fostered in Aurora, CO.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Colorado
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
