Animal ID: CCR668Jolene (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Jolene came to us from a crowded shelter in Texas and is approximately 11 weeks old. We are guessing her breed to be a Beagle mix. Jolene is a sweet girl who loves to play and loves to be held. She can be a little timid of loud sounds and other dogs barking, although her personality may change as she gets older and learns more about her world. She loves to have her belly rubbed and has the cutest over bite! Jolene would do well with a family that will give her lots of attention. If you are interested in adopting Jolene, please submit an adoption application located on our website, coloradocaninerescue.org. We will contact you as soon as ... (Read More)we receive it and have reached out to your current veterinarian and checked your references. We are asking for an adoption donation of $225 as well as $50 for the spay deposit that will be returned when CCR receives confirmation that she has been spayed. The spay must be done within 90 days of adoption. (Less)

Animal ID: CCR669Loralie (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Loralie came to us from a crowded shelter in Texas and is approximately 11 weeks old. We are guessing her breed to be a Beagle mix. Loralie is the biggest of her sisters. She is very adventurous and playful. She enjoys running around and playing with toys. Loralie would do best with an active family who likes to walk and would keep her busy. If you are interested in adopting Loralie, please submit an adoption application located on our website, coloradocaninerescue.org. Animal ID: CCR670Layla (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Layla came to us from a crowded shelter in Texas and is approximately 11 weeks old. We are guessing her breed to be a Beagle mix. Layla is the smallest of her sisters. She is very playful and sweet and loves to be cuddled. She gets upset when left alone but calms down quickly. She is doing well with her potty training and uses potty pads when she is in her pen. Layla would probably do best in a household where she has a lot of snuggle time and is not left alone for long periods of time. If you are interested in adopting Layla, please submit an adoption application located on our website, coloradocaninerescue.org. We will contact you as ... Animal ID: 467Casper (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Casper Beagle mix Male 3 years old 15 lbs. What do you think when you hear the name 'Casper'? I know, I know '| the Friendly Ghost. That's what everyone says! Well, I'm Casper the Friendly Beagle and once you meet me you'll forget all about that other Casper. Like my ghostly namesake, I'm more of a lover than a fighter. I love people, and it only takes me a few minutes to get over my shyness and open up to new people. My foster mom calls me a little 'Velcro dog' because I want to be around my humans all the time. I sleep in a crate, and I don't mind it at all, but if I had my choice, I'd be curled up in a ball sleeping side-by-side with ... (Read More)my human. I'm originally from Kansas, so you can imagine how happy I am to be in Colorado now - what a beautiful state! My true happiness will come, however, when I find that thing my canine pals call a 'forever home.' I think the perfect forever home for me would include humans who like to be cuddled - a lot! I think kids are great, as long as they're nice to me. I'm a bit of a sensitive fellow (another similarity between the Ghost and I), and kids who are too rough with me tend to hurt my feelings. I feel the same way about dogs who are too rambunctious. I'd be happiest in a home with dogs similar to my size and more on the mellow side. I wouldn't mind sharing a forever home with a cat or two, either. Some of the more wild dogs I know like to chase those poor felines. Such savages. I was taught to treat others the way I want to be treated - even cats. When it comes to tricks, I'm learning some cool ones pretty quickly at my foster mom's house. I have learned to sit on command, to walk nicely on a leash, and to go into my crate when my foster mom asks. Those are all useful tricks that humans seem to appreciate, but you want to know my favorite trick? I like to roll over and play dead every time my foster mom uses the vacuum. It's so funny! One of my favorite things to do (other than cuddle with you!) is to chew on squeaky toys and bones-it keeps me occupied while you're away from home. Speaking of home '| with Halloween right around the corner, I'm thinking this is the perfect time for you to bring a 'Casper' home, don't you? If I sound like the perfect dog for you, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application today! Hope to meet you soon! (Less)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults

I need to rehome my 4 month old beagle mix. She is very sweet and extremely smart. I rescued her a few weeks ago but I think needs someone with more time and space. She has all of her shots and is spayed. She is about 20 lbs so I don't expect her to get big. She is doing awesome with her house and crate training. She also gets along with my other pup great- they love each other. I am asking a rehoming fee of $300 just to ensure she goes to a good home and to cover some costs. She will also come with her collar and leash. Please text call or email if interested 303.910.8881 thanks

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Colorado
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
