Beagle lovers attention! If you want a small beagle you must meet Marley. She looks like a mini-beagle and acts like one, too. Marley is 3 years old and 17 lbs of Beagle and Pekinese mix. Her eyes might look sad, but she is a happy girl who loves to explore everything in reach. She is having a great time playing with the other dogs in her foster home. So if you need a play buddy for another dog, she would be a great choice. She loves to go on walks, play, ride in the car and is good with other dogs and cats. She is housetrained, crate trained, and will use a dog door. But if you have a dog door, you need to make sure you have a very ... (Read More)secure fence. She has that beagle nose and adventurous personality that makes her an escape risk. Marley is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She loves to cuddle in bed or on the couch while watching TV. She is looking for people to spend many nights sunggling with and many days going on adventures with. If she sounds like the dog for you, please contact rox@furfunrescue.org.     Cheagle, Cheagle, what is a Cheagle? Frankie is a Cheagle! At least we are pretty sure he is. A Cheagle is a Chihuahua and Beagle mix. And could he be any cuter? We think not. Look at those ears and those big sweet eyes. Can you say adorable? Now that you are in love, here are the specifics about Frankie. He is about 6 years old and weighs 25 lbs. He is the perfect medium size, not too big and not too small. Frankie has a wonderful temperament and sweet personality. Frankie is an optimist. His attitude is always positive and full of excitement. He gets along with everyone. He is currently in a foster home with another dog and ... (Read More)two cats. Frankie loves to give his foster mom and dog sister sweet little kisses. If the cats were agreeable to it he would probably give them kisses, too. When it is time for a snack, Frankie bounces for joy. When it is time to watch the news on TV, Frankie snuggles up close on the couch. When it is time for a nap, Frankie rests peacefully in his kennel. (we won't mention that sometimes he snores.) After a nap, Frankie loves to play with toys or go for a walk. He is a great walking buddy because he walks very nicely on a leash. Frankie is kennel trained, housebroken, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date on vaccinations. He has an appointment to get his teeth cleaned before he goes to his forever home. If you are looking for a dog that is a friendly, happy guy who is always wagging his tail, then you want to meet Frankie. The first step toward making that happen is to complete the adoption application that can be found on our website, www.furfunrescue.org. For more information about Frankie you can contact rox@furfunrescue.org. Adopters within an hour travel time from Cedar Rapids, IA only, please. Indoor homes only. Adoption donation $200. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Iowa
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
