|Rescue Me ID: 17-08-14-00395Daisy Duke (female)|
Daisy Duke is looking for a new home. She is probably a boxer/beagle mix. She has TONS of energy so unless you have a way to get her the exercise she needs she is not the right dog for you. She loves kids, is housebroken, does good with cats (likes to chase if they run but no harm), is crate trained, knows sit, lay down and shake. She does get car sick so will not be a good ride along partner. During the summer she prefers to be outside - but during the winter give her the nearest heat vent. She is just 15 months old so lots of puppy left. Because she still gets into stuff she needs to be crated when left alone during the day. She is spayed, current on all of her shots and looking for an active family to call her own. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-07-28-00324Scout (female)|
Scout is a 16 week old, 24 pound puppy. Since she can't tell us who her mom and dad were so we are guessing she is a Beagle and Terrier mix. What we do know for sure is that Scout is one smart puppy. She catches on to things very quickly and loves to learn new things. Scout is a very social pup who enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. She loves to play with other dogs and toys. Scout always has a smile on her face and has great control of those adorable ears. The wrinkles on her forehead when she pulls her ears together are adorable. Scout came into rescue because someone dumped her in the Super 8 parking lot in Bethany, MO and she ended up at a shelter where the only way out alive is rescue. Her forever home should probably not have cats, she loves her squeaky toys and will probably think a cat is a squeaky toy. She also needs a fenced yard to run and play safely. The puppy growth charts tell us she should be right around 40 pounds as an adult. Scout is a still a baby but is doing great at her house training. She sleeps all night but needs an adopter with the ability to get her outside every 4 hours or so during the day until she gets a little older. Scout is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to meet Scout, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Scout you can contact email@example.com or call 319-929-6657. Adopters within an hour of Cedar Rapids, Iowa only, please. Indoor homes only. Adoption donation $250. (Less)

Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
