Rescue Me ID: 14-09-28-00167Augie (male)

Beagle    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Augie is a super sweet and loving purebred 1 year old Beagle. He loves to play, but he's really a great snuggler. He's an easy-going, happy, house-trained, and healthy neutered little guy. He loves other dogs, and even likes cats! Beagles are sort of known for barking, but Augie? He would much rather listen to your voice than the sound of his own! For more information, please email psiloveyouar@gmail.com Include your name and phone number, and we will return your call.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Maine
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Maine if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
