Beagle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Willow is a young, approximately 1-1/2 years old, beagle mix who has 2 speeds, 0 and 100. She loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. Willow does have a tendency to chew on other things, so she will need extra training in this area. She's gets along with cats and dogs. Because of her young age and exuberance, older kids might be best. Willow rides well in the car and is crate trained. Willow has almost mastered potty training and hasn't had an accident in a while. She's a very affectionate girl who loves to be near you and loves to give kisses. She knows 'sit', and we're working on 'no' and 'leave it'. She is spayed, microchipped, ... (Read More)and up to date on vaccines. Willow has a lot of energy and loves to play, so a fenced yard and another dog to play with would be ideal. She loves to snuggle and will keep you warm all winter long. (Less)

Beagle    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

'Caroline' and 'Max' as we've been calling them, came into our care as strays that were never claimed and now are in search of their forever home(s)! They are middle aged Beagles that showed up to us extremely malnourished, sick, and so shy that they shook uncontrollably when you pet or held them. Now, these two sweet and very docile girls are ready to start the next chapter of their lives! Being that they were strays, we have no idea of their past or what they've been through but we do know that they are very quiet, gentle, and would LOVE to be adopted together but we know that may not always be possible. They've been great around the other ... (Read More)dogs and are starting to come out of their shells and socialize more and more with new people. They're now completely vetted, spayed, house broke and crate trained. Please contact us for more information on the adoption fee/process! S%90 (Less)

AUGGIE is a young male Beagle/Husky mix, as best as we can tell. The veterinarian said he is between 1-1 1/2 years of age. You will not find a better family dog.     MAREE is a wonderful, very sweet and well-behaved young girl. She came to Streethearts Animal Rescue after she had been struck by a car and ended up at the emergency veterinary clinic. Thankfully, she did not sustain any serious injuries. We guess Maree to be a Beagle/Pit-mix, weighs about 55 lbs & is approx 2 years old. Beagle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi There! My name is Cookie. I am a 7 year old female pit bull/beagle mix. I am very easy going, I love everyone I meet, including kids, cats and all dogs. I am so friendly. I have a bark like a beagle which I hear is quite funny coming out of a dog of my size. I guess I am overweight, but I would like to say I am just slightly plump with more to love. I am a foodie. Meaning I really love anything you choose to feed me....and I mean anything at all. I am kind of stubborn, or so they tell me. I would like to say I am just strong willed. When I do not want to do something I usually don't. Like for example if the girls at the rescue ... (Read More)want me to exercise (which I hate by the way) I will put the breaks on and not go any where. I am super loving. why not add a wonderful girl like me to your family? PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Michigan
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
