Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Andy is a little 3-4 year old Beagle Mix that is lucky to be alive. In December he was hit by a car and suffered a broken leg. The good Samaritan that found him called is for help. The owners were never found. We took Andy to the Vet and it was determined that his leg would have to have pins put in it to save it. Andy has spent 3 months confined to a crate - leash walks only. He has been such a good sport during this whole ordeal. He is happy and healthy and his leg is as good as new. Andy would love a home where he can be an inside dog, have another dog about his size (35#) to play with and someone to love him. Andy is an affectionate boy ... (Read More)who likes to snuggle. He is potty trained, crate trained, heart worm negative, and up-to-date on his shots. Andy sleeps on a pet bed at night and is crated during the day if the weather outside isn't ideal. PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Oklahoma
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
