Rescue Me ID: 17-04-28-00040Tobias (male)
Tobias is a great very smart dog. Owners have recently moved locations from a farm to an apartment. Tobias is not adapting very well. He has anxiety when left alone for long periods and is very high energy. He's a very good dog just needs more attention and room to run. He is leash trained and minds well for the most part.

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-20-00411Pepe (male)
Pepe came to us from Central California. His paperwork says German Shepherd for some reason, but we would say he is a beagle mix. He is about 20-25 pounds and just a cutie. He is fixed, chipped and UTD on his vaccinations. This is what his foster says about him: He is a ball of fun and enjoys going out to the park, on runs and also baking in the sun.He is potty trained, does great on a leash preferably the body ones. He is also crate trained. We are working on sit and no Jumping. He is good with kids and just looks at the cats. Pepe is currently in foster in California, but he is ready to come to Oregon or Washington for his forever family! |Rescue Me ID: 17-03-16-00479Oscar (male)|
Oscar is an approximately 3-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix. He is a goofy little man. He is very playful and affectionate. Oscar loves to play ball, but also to snuggle. He didn't seem to like men at his first foster home but probably just needs some patience and understanding to learn to trust again. We do not know how he is with cats or small children. Oscar is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. He is located in Portland, OR. Please contact us if you are interested in adopting, or even fostering, one of our dogs. We are a federal non-profit rescue. We do require a completed application and a home visit prior to adopting. Please go to our website to complete an application (quickest way to meet a dog) at www.theheartofrescue.com or call us at 541-782-THOR (8467). (Less)

Animal ID: Mr NoelMr Noel (male)
https://www.missgabriel.org/noel.html https://www.facebook.com/MrNoel2011 Mr. Noel Beagle/American Staffordshire Terrier/Golden Retriever/Chow Chow mix Some dogs are happy just to go along with the flow, but other dogs know what they want... and they aren't afraid to let everyone know! Meet Noel, a dog who knows his own mind; at 5 years young, he's done with debates and compromise. Dude likes to be left alone when he's eating (can you blame him?), and he does NOT like to move spots while he is resting. - i.e., please respect his boundaries! But seriously. He's an awesome dog who looks battered on the outside but has a HUGE personality that just can't be denied! And man, when he's ready to cuddle, get ready for some snuggling! Somehow, when his warm body is nuzzled up against you, it's easy to forget what a little bossy pants he can be. Are you ready for a one-of-a-kind, knows his own mind sort of dog?! Then call Miss Gabriel Foundation at 541-582-1521 to schedule a meet n greet with Noel. And please spread the love around and share with all of your Facebook friends! A $250 Adoption fee applies. This includes: Neuter Microchip Dog License Current All Vaccinations Current Heart Worm Prevention Current Flea/Tick Prevention Current De-wormed DNA Test Result Package Complimentary Wellness Exam Complimentary Dog Training Lesson (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Oregon
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
