Transport available across the US. Mouse is what she's called. Why? Because she is so tiny and cute my sons say! Mouse is a teeny tiny pocket beagle who will be available for adoption after she completes heartworm treatment. Mouse is so sweet and wonderful with children, other dogs, and cats. Mouse is calm and quiet and doesn't jump. She only weighs about 10 lbs and is 3 years old. This little doll would love a family of her own to cuddle with! She is really coming out of her shell too but not losing her super sweet and gentle personality. She runs in crazy dog circles when excited and then crawls up for love and hugs. She is so sweet ...     *Transport Available across U.S.* Pepper is a precious little beagle girl. She hasn't been vetted in a long time, in fact, she has no record of vetting and has a severe case of glaucoma which beagles are prone too. Her appointment is scheduled for Sept 20th and funds have been raised thank you to generous supporters! Once her eye is removed, she will be ready for her forever home. My age: 2 years old, est birthdate 3/11/2014 Note that this description and Cashew are very much similar for we believe the girls are sisters. Nadia is just slightly more outgoing than Cashew. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. Rescue Me ID: 16-07-10-00063Lil Bit (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lil Bit is a 40lbs hound/husky/beagle mix. She loves cuddles and walks, and will do lots of tricks for a treat. She's good at going on runs, but is also more than content to lay around the house. As long as she can be around the humans she's happy! All of her vaccines as well as her wellness exam and heartworm test were given in May. She's been on monthly trifexis for several years. I lost my housing situation last november and have been struggling to get back on my feet. We are couch surfing and living in a tent currently, and with the weather and my non-existent funds I feel unfit to take care of her. She loves cats and humans of any ... (Read More)age/gender. She's skittish about other dogs though, so she'd do better as an only dog - however she can be slowly introduced to the right dog (we stay at a place with one other dog a lot right now). She has sit, stay, speak, hush, high five, and lay down commands. She's incredibly smart, and picks up on routines quickly. I have a crate for her (we don't use it, but if you want it for acquainting her with a new house I've got it in storage) and food and water bowls. The rehoming fee ($20) is only to make sure she doesn't go to the wrong home. She has so much love to give and I know she'll make someone else as happy as she has made me (Less)

Loki is a Beagle blended pup named after the fictional Norse god known to be a trickster. And this 2-year-old, medium-sized guy lives up to the mischievous namesake. He loves to run and as he playfully darts around your feet, you can almost hear him daring, 'Catch me if you can!' By game's end he's happy to be caught up and given a hug and some cuddles. If he were to write his own personal ad, it would simply read: 'Full of life and energy, fascinated by the world, enjoys the outdoors, lover of attention, and seeker of play.' Took him to the vet for all shots.. he did test positive for heartworms. Other than that, he is a healthy snoring cuddle beagle.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in South Carolina
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
