Rescue Me ID: 16-08-17-00372Tanner (male)
Tanner has been with our family since he was 4 months old. He's now in search of his retirement home. Our family has 3 little kids and that's proving too stressful for our senior beagle. Tanner wants to go on walks, hunt squirrels, roam in your fenced back yard or snuggle with you on the couch. He could use a bit of Alpha dog training but knows many tricks and is crate trained! (Who says you can't teach a beagle tricks!?!?)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-06-00288Molly (8) & Bella (6) (female)
Mother and daughter Beagles (must go together) Mother is Molly and 8 yrs and Bella is daughter and 7 years old. These dogs love to run and run - unfortuneatly their owners can't and thats why they need a new family with fenced yard and kids to play with them. Very loving dogs and will cuddle and lick you but they need more than we can offer. We have chickens and ducks that are free range and they do not chase them. We have a Sheppard that they play with and a 6 month old cat that they tolerate. Love treats!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Washington
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
