Rescue Me ID: 14-10-02-00065Gloria (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Gloria is a very special girl to Corridor Rescue. She was one of our very first rescued pups out of the Corridor of Cruelty and one of our first dogs to be adopted through our group. She was 2 years old at that time and after being in her adopted family for nearly 6 years, she's had to return to us because her human sibling was very allergic to her. She is a beautiful mix of Border Collie and Beagle. She was born in 2006 and weighs 47 pounds. Her new foster mom has said that Gloria was the most adoptable dog she has ever met. We know that she's a wonderful lady and hope that another family will allow this sweetie to be in their pack ... (Read More)forever. Gloria is great with other dogs and children. She's lived with them and been around them her whole life. She still loves to play with her toys, chases them and then chews on them too. She's not one for fetch, but she loves to chase everything. It is so cute to watch her curiously chase things that move in the yard, even fluttering leaves and little bugs. She knows sit, stay and come and is very well-mannered. Gloria is a watcher too. She loves to lie in front of the window and watch what's going on in the world. She alerts her family if someone is at the door. She'd really love to have her bed under a window in her new house so she can continue her watch and continue protecting her family. This girl loves to take walks and gets really excited every time you fetch her leash from the cabinet. She walks very well on her leash and occasionally gets excited and wants to pull you to something to check it out. That is the Beagle coming out in her. She loves to explore in her yard, on walks and at the dog park. She may be a little bit older, but she's still got spunk and she's a great, loyal companion. Attention and love are always accepted by Miss Gloria, but she's not pushy about it. She really enjoys getting loved on, but she isn't overly cuddly or a lap dog. She is a very mellow and adaptable girl and will adjust quickly into her new family. If you are looking for the most adoptable dog ever, then consider giving Gloria a forever home. Gloria currently lives in Houston, Texas and is on the network for Seattle because we have amazing volunteers who live here to help coordinate successful out-of-state adoptions. Corridor Rescue has the very fortunate ability to transport dogs to other states via the United Airlines PetSafe program. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $150. The transport cost is $225, which includes the airline flight, a new pet travel kennel that you can keep upon arrival and the required health documents from the veterinarian. The grand total for adopting this pet including adoption fee and airline/transportation fee to the Seattle airport is $375. If you would like to adopt Gloria, please fill out an adoption application at under the More Information tab. Please contact us at with any questions. Thank you! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-27-00597Bailey (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed

This little beauty is in search of her forever home. So far 2 families have been key in rescuing this little gem off the streets, where she was dumped in Eastern Washington. Unfortunately, neither homes are in a position to adopt her. Bailey loves being with other dogs and will play tug-o-war and wrestle with them. She is eager to please and learns quickly. Bailey still needs a good teacher, but is well on her way to becoming a wonderful companion. She has learned to be around cats, leash training is in progress, she has fetching mastered, the sit command mastered, 'Bailey come' almost mastered, potty training is almost there. We are ... (Read More)unsure of what shots she may have had but suspect some were given, as she is in good health. We would be more than willing to assist in the cost of updating shots and spay. It is important that she settles into a permanent home soon. Bailey is an active pup, but not hyper. She rarely barks, and loves to go for rides in the car. This is an opportunity for someone to create a life long bond, and loyal companion, with a very lucky pup! If you feel Bailey could be a good match for your home, or would like more info, please contact Antonia @ 253-954-7602. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-22-00459Lovey (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

This is Lovey, and she has earned her name. She is a tan/white beagle mix who is a little on the bigger side, no fragile little girl here. She loves her belly rubs and gives love in return. Lovey is a mellow girl who walks well on a leash and is gentle with children. She would be great with kids and adults and gets along with the dogs she is 'rooming' with as long as they do not try to take her toys/food. She will need to be introduced to resident dogs, and possibly need some direction and training in her new home but will make a wonderful family pet. Lovey was rescued from a high kill CA shelter and is patiently waiting for her forever ... (Read More)home. Adoption Fee $200.00 Lovey has been spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested heart worm negative. Rescue Me ID: 14-08-27-00032Ember (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Please meet Ember, a two year old female Doxi/Beagle Mix. Ember wants nothing more than to please and be loved. She has the body of a Doxi but the face of a Beagle with adorable floppy ears. She is very sweet and very mellow but will get really excited when she is able to sit on your lap and get love. She will do her own thing. She can be a bit territorial so she would do better with a home with no kids, cats or other dogs. Ember is a bit weary of strangers and can be aggressive as most doxies' are. She tends to get stressed when her environment changes, so she will need a bit of love and TLC when you take her home. The staff at the Rescue ... (Read More)love her, and as soon as she warms up to you she wins you over. Ember needs a loving person who can work with her calmly but firmly in a stable environment, someone with dog experience that will take the time to 'win' her over and teach her to trust and relax. She is a sweet, playful little girl she just needs the right person to make her feel comfortable. If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful girl please contact us for a meet and greet at Our adoption facility is located at 2905 Marvin Rd NE Lacey WA Ember's adoption fee is $225. She is spayed, up-to-date with vaccines and micro chipped. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Washington
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
