Rescue Me ID: 15-08-28-00210Rupert (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rupert is such a sweet boy! He's a happy, 5ish year old, 20lbs boy that loves to romp through the yard with the other dogs or better yet, hang out with his person. He loves to go on walks and car rides, too. Rupert is the perfect size smallish / medium size dog for hiking and lap cuddling! He's very quiet, too, so will make an excellent condo dog companion. A fenced yard is preferred but not necessary, as long as there are plenty of daily walks and outings.

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-18-00266Sadie (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I have a Beagle/Pit Bull mix female, she is probably about 3-4 years old, her name is Sadie. She is a rescue that we found in Mississippi, and brought her back with us to Seattle. We originally rescued 3 dogs, found 2 homes. Sadie has been a little harder to find a good home. My husband and I would love to be able to keep her, but also have 2 other rescues we are caring for. Our issue is she really needs to be the only dog in the family, as she struggles with needing the most attention. Sadie was chained most of her life with very little to no attention. She is very smart, plays well, loves fetching a ball, walks, and very eager to please.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-04-00372Joey (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My name is Joey! Looking for a great walking or hiking partner? I am your guy! I am a male, 20 pound, neutered, 2-year old Boston Terrier/Beagle mix with high energy. My adoption fee is $575. I am happy dog that is very obedient. I have a sweet disposition and I am full of energy. I love to play with other dogs, and like to play rough - so a dog my size that enjoys this type of play would be good, with that said, I do respect dogs that do not want to play. I don't mind cats and I like children. My perfect home would be with a person or persons that is active and loves to spend time with me. If you have a fenced yard and another ... (Read More)doggy, I would be in seventh heaven!! I will keep you entertained with my silliness for hours. And I know basic commands - sit and down, and I am crate trained and almost potty-trained, yes, I am SMART boy! I will require a home where I am not alone for more than 4 hours at a time - dog walker for potty breaks would work. The adoption fee includes: neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) plus de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. The fee also supports costs for various necessary vet care including special surgeries, quality grain free food, general supplies, grooming, boarding, health certificate and transport cost from California to Seattle. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. All dogs are home fostered in the Seattle area by volunteers. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'save it forward' so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees Rescue limits adoptions to residents of Washington State. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Washington
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
