Rescue Me ID: 16-05-04-00023Rex (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rex is schedule to arrive in WA on Memorial Day weekend. He can be pre-adopted or if not he will go into a foster home. REX is the ultimate character. He does have a lot of energy and just absolutely LOVES to play. He loves everyone...especially children. He is about 4 mos old and he is definitely part Beagle...and we're not sure, but it could be part Pit. Being young, he currently has not manners and no inhibitions...training will be a must. He is neutered, 2 vaccinations, 1 Bordetella vax, Rabies, and Nexgard for flea/tick control. His story is that someone dropped him off at Walmart and he was gleefully trying to go inside. The ... (Read More)attendants at the door were working hard to try to keep him out. A friend of mine was there trying to NOT pick up another rescue but just could NOT ignore this one...so, to heck with shopping...she took him home. He had fleas so she went to her local vet (my vet) to get a Capstar (flea killer) and there I was...and I took Rex home with me. He will be a lot to handle because of his energy level and his Hap, Hap, Happiness!!! Adoption fee: $425 Includes all medical, Health Certificate, all transportation costs from Texas to PNW. If you are interested in her, please text 210-394-6060...identify the dog, yourself, and give me your e-mail. I can then send you all my pictures of her and answer any of your questions along with giving you an application. Terry Wheeler PetCentralSATX San Antonio, Texas (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-09-27-00308Tera (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Tera is already spayed, house-trained, in need of an experienced dog owner, up to date with shots, not good with other dogs or with cats. Tera likes to play! Tera's about 18mo old and weighs about 40-45lbs. It was clear when we got her that she had not been socialized well as a puppy. Tara can only be with very mellow, neutral dogs, but no other dogs in the home is best. No dog park for this girl. Please tell us about yourself when you request an application

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Washington
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
