Charli is a 2 year old beagle/dachshund/chihuahua mix who was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Houston. He is available for adoption. He has one of the best personalities I have ever seen in a dog. He loves to roll over and get belly rubs, and he is playful and affectionate. He would be a great family dog!     How cute is this face? Deuce isn't just another pretty face. He's a mannerly little dog that loves to cuddle. He's not a couch potato, and loves zipping around the yard when given the chance. But he really loves to cuddle. He's 3 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.

I rescued 'Rudy' from a shelter 2 months ago and cannot keep him. He's a gentle dog, sits when asked, and is house trained. He loves to be petted and walked. However, he's a runner, if he gets a chance. You will need a fenced yard and vigilance to make sure he doesn't get out.

Rescue Me ID: 15-09-27-00308Tera (female)

Beagle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Tera is already spayed, house-trained, in need of an experienced dog owner, up to date with shots, not good with other dogs or with cats. Tera likes to play! Tera's about 18mo old and weighs about 40-45lbs. It was clear when we got her that she had not been socialized well as a puppy. Tara can only be with very mellow, neutral dogs, but no other dogs in the home is best. No dog park for this girl. Please tell us about yourself when you request an application

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Washington
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
