She likes mostly to curl up on the sofa. She is starting to come out of her shell and loves attention. Bucky is up to date on her shots and has been wormed. After her vet evaiuation it was determined that Bucky is in the early stages of heart failure. However this can be managed with inexpensive medicine. She may have quite a few years left of love to give. If interested in making her a part of your family, eamil mmadoptions@gmail.com

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-27-00430GYPSY & BUCKY (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

SPECIAL NEEDS - BONDED PAIR Gypsy & Bucky both prefer to stay in their private corner of the kennel so in order to work on socialization their foster mom usually crawls in there with them. Buck enjoys being petted and loved on but little Gypsy is still very anxious about it. Neither have ever threatened to bite. Foster mom said, 'They will eat snacks from my hand all day long and wag their tails and bark when they hear our car coming up the driveway.' Gypsy relies heavily on Buck as her security blanket so they are being offered as a bonded pair so they will be adopted together. The perfect adopter would keep them inside so they can be ... (Read More)around people more. We don't think it would take long for them to come out of their shells - especially Buck, who is fairly well laid back. Buck y has a really cool bark! The adoption fee for a bonded pair of dogs is $250 and that includes: 'ۢ veterinarian examination 'ۢ current vaccines 'ۢ current flea, intestinal parasite, and heartworm prevention 'ۢ spay/neuter 'ۢ a microchip for identification if ever lost or stolen 'ۢ current heartworm test Our animals are listed on facebook.com/swval, petfinder.com, rescueme.org & adoptapet.com. Since we do not have a physical location our pets are in foster homes, some as far as 2 hours from Princeton, where we are based and do our adoptions. Therefore we require an approved adoption application in order to meet a pet.* This will also allow immediate possession of a pet if, at the meeting, it's decided the pet is a match. *submitting an application does not obligate one to adopt but a meeting will only be arranged for serious applicants. In order to adopt, fill out the adoption application from our website or email us at adopt.swval@gmail.com and we'll send you an application! (Less)

Charlotte is such a sweetheart. We have a large fenced in yard where she escapes under fence to run in the field next door, however, we recently got a German Shepherd who is now 8 months old. He would follow her out of fence and saw them in the road. We have had to chain her up outside ever since. She needs to be able to run and can not do it now. She loves to be #1 and loves the attention. She needs someone who has plenty of room for her to run. She does not need to be chained up all day.

Hi, I'm Asher, formerly Westly from LUAC, a nice sponser wanted to re name me. Asher means Blessed and Lucky, both of which I am. PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in West Virginia
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in West Virginia if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
