Duncan is super sweet and came to a shelter in NC as a stray. He was on the euthanasia list and Fetch was able to step in and save him a few days before his time was up. He loves people and attention, and does well with other dogs. He will make a great companion. From his foster: 'Duncan has been making excellent progress. We figured out his potty schedule, and he hasn't had an accident in a whole month! (it was rare for him to have an accident before, but it is good to get it completely ironed out). He has developed a particular fondness for snuggles, kisses, and hugs from his foster mommy. He also likes to keep her company as she ... They will run laps together for endless amounts of time. When Mona catches him, he simply jumps right over her. His agility is incredible. The shelter thought Duncan was a lab/rottweiler, but after some more research, we believe he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix (probably mixed with beagle or boxer, which is why is he so small).' (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Wisconsin
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
