Rescue Me ID: 16-03-28-00510Buddy (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Buddy is a sweet, energetic boy we adopted from Eastshore Humane Society about 7 years ago. He's somewhat suspicious of men, and doesn't like sudden noises like fly swatters. He's been very unhappy since my husband and I divorced and my daughter and I moved back to the city. He needs someone who has the time and attention he so desperately craves, and we want that for him.

Rescue Me ID: 16-03-28-00465Buddy (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adult Women Only
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

We rescued Buddy from Eastshore Humane Society 7 years ago. He's cautious around men, doesn't like loud, sudden noises (flyswatters, hammering, chainsaws)and can be unpredictable around people he doesn't know, so he spends too much time in his kennel when my daughter's friends visit. He requires much more attention than I can offer since my husband and I divorced and I moved back into the city. He doesn't have a big yard to run around in any longer, which he loved. I feel he's unhappy in our current living situation, and would love for him to have a new person/family who has the time and capacity for him.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Wisconsin
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
