Rescue Me ID: 17-11-30-00143Sheldon (male)

Beagle    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

If you are looking for a really great dog, this is him. Sheldon is house trained, playful and loving. I think his ideal day would be to play with his squeaky toys and than cuddle up on the chair with his human. He loves to go on walks and REALLY likes rides in the truck. And, he doesn't bark a lot for a beagle. Why are we finding him a different home? He needs a lot of attention as he has separation anxiety. He has been getting better, but needs more than we can give him at this time. He would be best suited for a home where there is someone around a lot or maybe even another dog friend. In all honesty, this will break our hearts to do ... (Read More)this, but we know it's in the best interest of Sheldon. He is about 2 years old and 27lbs. His blue tic coloring is very unique and rare. (Less)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Auggie is the most adorable 2 yr old beagle mix! He is a whole lotta love in a small 16 lb package! Auggie (short for August) is extremely loving and loves nothing more than to be with his people all snuggled up in their laps or on the pillow curled up next to his person in bed. He has a bit of energy which he likes to burn off running around in the fenced in yard. He is sweet and lovable to all he meets and for a beagle, rarely barks except to alert us of anyone or anything getting near our home. He loves to play with his 2 large foster collie sibblings and snuggles and sleeps with one so he does do well with other dogs but he would also ... (Read More)love to be your one and only! Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Buddy is a 3 yr. old, 27 lb., Puggle looking for his forever home. He was an owner surrender because they could no longer care for him. He is great with people, kids, other dogs and cats. He can be food aggressive with other dogs so he needs to be fed separately if you have another dog. He does have a Beagle bark which is very high pitched, so apartment living may not work for him. He pulls on a leash so he would need more training on that. He does like to run so a fenced in yard would work best. He is housebroke and crate trained. He is completely vetted and his adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in adopting him, call Maureen at ... (Read More)608-356-9683. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Beagle in Wisconsin
Beagle Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Beagles are small, energetic hounds with sweet, happy dispositions. Beagles make wonderful family pets. Beagles need to be with people and do not like to be left alone; it is a good idea to have more than one dog if you will be away often. Beagles are great with children but do not do well with cats and other household animals unless they are around them from the time they are puppies. A Beagle needs a decent sized yard to play in and needs lots of exercise. Beagles may wander off easily if not kept on a leash.
